Arsenal beat Liverpool on penalties to seal FA Community Shield

Arsenal managed to beat Liverpool on spotkick to clench first season silverware.

Arsenal, after managing to beat Chelsea last season in the FA CUP final were predestined to play Liverpool, winners of 19/20 EPL title at Wembley in hopes of getting their season to a winning start.

Aubameyang scored the games opener after an assist from Wonderkid, Bukayo Saka. Takumi Minamino came on from the bench as a supersub to equalize the the scoreline.

The match stretched through fulltime to penalties were Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster failed to score by hitting the woodwork giving Aubameyang the golden chance of sealing the win with an accurate strike.

Klopps side who were last seasons wonder team will hope to recover from this loss in order to compete once more for silverware.

Meanwhile Arsenal’s manager, Arteta will have the happier side after clenching his second trophy for his football career team Arsenal, in hopes of a boost to stand as next seasons English Premier League title contenders.
